Buy An Ornament And Help Community Concern For Cats

You can help provide medical care to homeless and abandoned cats in your neighborhood by donating to Community Concern for Cats’ annual “Holiday Giving Tree” fundraiser which supports their Clayton cat hospital and adoption services.
Through December 31 help this 35-year old cat rescue group save lives by donating generously to their “Holiday Giving Tree” located at their upscale thrift shop, Rescued Treasures,  at 1270 Newell Ave. in Walnut Creek, in the San Miguel Shopping Center.
How does it work?
You buy an ornament from the little tree on their checkout counter.  Then you add your name or your pet’s name to the ornament.  They hang it with gratitude on the big tree in the window!
Can’t stop by, but still want to donate?
You can also donate to help Community Concern for Cats on their Facebook Page; or their website, communityconcernforcats.org or send a check directly to the organization.  But the most enjoyable way to show your compassion for homeless cats is to go into their Rescued Treasures Thrift Store, buy an ornament, and do some shopping!  They have many one-of-a-kind items that you will surely love to buy and give as gifts.
For the past 35 years, members of Community Concern for Cats have been taking their traps and going to the aid of suffering homeless cats and kittens on your street, in store parking lots, by restaurant dumpsters, and other hidden places.  They provide spay and neuter surgeries, surgeries for broken bones, abscesses, eye injuries and care for many other painful maladies that homeless cats suffer every day.  They also run an adoption service to find cats and kittens safe and loving homes.  So far this year, they have found great homes for 775 cats and kittens.
Please include Community Concern for Cats  in your holiday giving!
