Come and celebrate Halloween on the trails of Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve on Saturday, October 27 at 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Referring to an essential fuel source for the burgeoning Bay Area of the mid-1800’s, Black Diamond Mines has beautiful scenery and a long-standing history of the industry.
The Preserve traverses areas of grassland, foothill woodland, mixed evergreen forest, chaparral, stream vegetation and exotic plantings introduced by coal miners. Be sure to bring plenty of water, a snack, and dress in layers. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots recommended and Costumes are optional but encouraged.

There will be a $5 park entrance fee at the kiosk is attended.
