Kristi Yamaguchi, Olympic ice-skating champion, and children’s literacy advocate, will be at City Center (outside in Alexander square) Sunday December 5 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., reading from two of her popular children’s books. With the purchase of a book, you can get Kristi’s autograph and have your picture taken with her. And maybe pick up a book or two as gifts.
All proceeds from the book sales will benefit Kristi’s charity, Always Dream. The program ensures that children from low-income families have access to high-quality books in the home environment along with extensive family involvement. The reading and book sale are open to the public.
