Daylight Saving Time.
Proposition 7 was on the ballot in November and passed. So, what happens next?
After doing a little research of my own, it looks like the next step includes the State Legislature looking at what other options are available. They will have the opportunity to decide whether we keep Daylight Saving year round or stay on standard time permanently. Either way, before we can move forward with permanent Daylight Saving, the bill requires a two-thirds vote by the legislature.
Then, it would need the governor’s signature.
Followed by Congressional approval.
Therefore, it’s still up in the air whether or not we get to keep Daylight Saving Time.
What do you think…should we keep Daylight Saving Time? Or, should we continue to change the clocks every March and November?
